Raising a kid is a full-time job. Parents have to do so much to make sure that their kid becomes the happiest kid in the world.   1. The first tip is to make an eye contact. Many don’t believe it but when you look someone in the eye and talk to them, they become more attentive.   2. There are some parents who automatically don’t talk naturally when they practicing speech therapy with their kid. Try to be as natural as you can, speak with them like you speak all day.
  3. Like we said before to make an eye contact, it is also important that you talk to them face to face. Make sure that they are facing towards you when you are talking.
  4. The one thing that you have to do is be a good listener. Don’t halt them while they are speaking, listen to all of it then correct them.
  5. It can be very frustrating for you, so, we suggest that you try to tell them a story. Kids love stories and that will def gain their attention for hours.
